An independant Scotland would push for more progress at the UN climate negotiations according to Fergus Ewing, Scotland’s Energy, Enterprise and Tourism Minister and MSP for the Scottish National Party.
Speaking to RTCC, Ewing said that the country’s 100% renewable energy target would encourage more action from other nations.
He also praised the progress the country is already making towards this target but warned that some sectors of business needed to be more informed about the benefits of making the switch to the low carbon economy.
