Is climate science too complex for the average man or women on the street to comprehend?
Speaking ahead of a Berkhamsted Transition Town event to mark Climate Week 2012, climate scientist Dr Andrew Jarvis from Lancaster University argues that it’s not too complicated, provided scientists and the media stick to the basics.
And he says the predicted drought that could affect the UK this summer will be useful in showing to the public what dangerous climate change could inflict on the country.
