Bread for the World is a church based agency developing and implementing action against poverty and climate change in vulnerable communities. They see climate change as a huge driver for poverty as it subverts and detracts from the scarce resources of vulnerable communities. Cornelia wants to see a strong recognition for Loss and Damage and the Warsaw International Mechanism in this year’s COP. Finally she comments on the difficulties of their latest project which is to supporting the resettlement of villages in three Pacific islands that are being destroyed by sea level rise.
