2024 Impact Report
At Climate Home News, we believe that independent, quality journalism can change the world for the better. That’s why we are committed to delivering in-depth analysis, investigations and expert commentary to inform audiences and inspire action to help tackle the climate crisis.
As far as we know, we were the only media outlet to report directly from the Bonn Climate Change Conference, the Biodiversity COP16 in Cali, Colombia, the Climate COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and the INC-5 Plastics Conference in Busan, South Korea in 2024.
Despite the small size of our team, we have been able to produce highly valued and influential work whose ripples are felt far beyond our editorial desk. We have been recognised as award finalists, achieved translations and republications across the world, and citations and references in books, articles, webinars, high-level reports and academic journal articles.
We are all incredibly proud of what we have achieved and are eager to build on these successes in 2025. With that in mind, we are actively seeking partners to help tackle the climate crisis and make an even bigger impact in the months and years ahead.
