Nowadays people are mostly concerned with economic issues and not emissions, she says, so it is important to educate companies on how easy it is to lessen their impact on the environment.

Ecofrotas uses gap analysis to show where motorists can reduce the greenhouse gas emissions.

Brazil has one of the most developed ethanol industries in the world, with more than 90% of cars incorporating flex fuel technology.

Companies whose fleets use 95% ethanol fuels can obtain carbon credits
