At its heart, climate justice is about human rights, says Paul Wheelhouse, Scotland’s Minister for Environment and Climate Change. “We have a moral and ethical responsibility to help” he says. “There is a lack of trust, arisen from things we can all be ashamed of in the past…and developing nations have a lack of trust. Hopefully other nations will do so as well to say we do actually care.”
