COP18 (04/12/12) – Connie Hedegaard, the EU’s Commissioner for Climate Action talks about how the EU is helping to make the bridge between the system of the past and the system of the future by taking on a second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol.

She calls on people in Doha not to forget to ask what the remaining countries not in Kyoto – representing 85% of emissions – are doing to raise their emissions. She stresses while progress has been made in Doha, it has not been nearly enough.
