COP18 (29/11/12) – Reem Al Mealla from the Arab Youth Climate Network talks about the importance of youth day at the UN climate talks.

She says young people are united to achieve their goal and stop climate change but says that previous conferences have shown that delegates at the climate talks do not have the same aim.

She warns that the fate of not only young people but of all creatures on the planet are in the hands of delegates and call on them to involve young people in drafting their policies. She stresses that one day it will be the youth of today who will be filling the seats at the talks.
