Kirt Kootoo Ejesiak

Kirt Kootoo Ejesiak from the Inuit Circumpolar Council Canada explains how the Inuits need action on climate change. He says not much has happened and that the Arctic states must step up to the plate, with funding, adaptation and mitigation efforts. He says they have partnered with the small island states to achieve more influence in the negotiations.  He notes that Canada has received three fossil awards.
