Murali and Sahithi, COP11 volunteers, interview: Rio Conventions Pavilion, CBD COP11, 11/10/2012 – Murali and Sahithi, two COP11 volunteers explain why they chose to get involved with the conference.

Sahithi says she has learned a lot about climate change, forest conservation, the Aichi targets and biodiversity in general, things she says she doesn’t get to learn about in her daily life.

Murali says he has learned that on paper, managing biodiversity and conservation might look easy but in practice its more difficult and now he’s seen now seen all the hard work that goes on behind closed doors to conserve nature.
