CBD COP11 (09/10/12) – Julia Miranda, Director General National Parks, Colombia, says she wants this meeting of the CBD to help nations put policies into action.

In her own country she says illegal mining and deforestation is creating additional problems for the protection of biodiversity and the integrity of national parks.
