Keya Chatterjee

Keya Chatterjee, from the World Wildlife Fund, talks about her organisation’s goals for climate change negotiations, and explains why she wants the eventual multilateral agreement to be more than the sum of various national plans. She compares the way that greenhouse gas emissions accumulate to the way water pools in a bathtub and says that countries that have added more to the current situation should be obligated to do more. She also explains the role of nongovernmental groups in the process, and she talks about the importance of transparency in the process. Also see Keya Chatterjee speaking from Bonn in June, 2009.
