Sandrine is at COP21 because the Prince of Wales Corporate Leaders Group has been encouraging governments to sign a robust deal at COPS for ten years. Sandrine explains a deal is important because business executives are looking for a signal that investments are going to continue, that governments are taking climate change seriously. Sandrine believes that review cycles need to integrated directly into the text with a long-term goal and is advocating for carbon prices and fossil fuel subsidies reform. Finally she explains that the difference between this COP and others is the strong voice and role of non-state actors working with and pushing governments.
