Milton talks to Climate Home about the recent mining disaster in Brasil where due to poor management an iron ore waste pond collapsed causing an avalanche of mining waste that destroyed the river, villages and ran 600km into the Atlantic Ocean. Milton thinks that mining needs to be recognised at COP21 as a source of greenhouse gases and that principles must be adopted to ensure sustainable and responsible management of the mining industry.
