Kolja Kuse, European Council for Sustainable Energy

Kuse introduces the ECSE’s ambitious aim to reduce industry emissions by 2100 and remove all industry emissions by 2400. He explains this is achievable by removing all building materials and the carbon intensive process’s required to produce them. He proposes replacing these materials with carbon fibre technology that used plant-based materials such as algae and solar energy to produce them. Additionally, the excess heat produced in this process can be used for electricity. He explains this technology is of specific interest for developing countries as the base material natural stone can be found in any country
