COP20: Brad Page, Global CCS Institute

COP20 (09/12/14) – Page tells RTCC that this year the company globally have 22 projects operating or under construction, which is a 50% increase from 2010. The first power plant in operation with CCS in Canada is operating better than expected. Page believes that clear global policies on emissions is needed in order to drive new investment and deployment of CCS. CCS needs good supportive policies in order to bring in good capital flows. Page then talks about the potential for CCS costs to decrease and CCS deployment projections for the next ten years.
