COP20 (08/12/14) – Naoko Ishii gives her thoughts on the importance of COP20 and discusses what for her are the key components of a successful 2015 agreement. She argues that the global deal must address three important areas, national contributions, how to catalyse widespread action on climate, and of course finance. She discusses how the GEF is working to facilitate action in each of these areas. Dr Ishii goes on to talk about the relationship between GEF and the GCF and how they can work together to catalyse transformative action on climate change.
