Carter Roberts, CEO, WWF, USA talks about the partnership between WWF and GEF and the organisation’s recent announcement of becoming a GEF-implementing agency.

Roberts explains that becoming a GEF-implementing agency provides a great opportunity for WWF to work with national governments and advance sustainable practices.

WWF has been involved with over 100 GEF projects to date but he says the private sector and national governments need to do more to move the food production sector to more sustainable practices which includes using less land, water and energy.
