RTCC 2013 Climate Change Awards

UNFCCC COP19 negotiations, Warsaw, Poland

RTCC is delighted to announce its inaugural Climate Change Awards, celebrating the achievements of the leading businesses and individuals from across the green economy.

As the countdown continues to the 2015 UN conference where a global emissions deal could be agreed, the need for private sector leadership is stronger than ever before.

The 2013 awards, which will be presented while international climate change talks in Warsaw are taking place, will reward green thinking in a global economy that demands short term success.

“RTCC has been pushing for an ambitious global climate deal since we set up, and I delighted that we can now recognise individual businesses and sector leaders who are driving the green economy forward,” said RTCC Executive Director James Ramsey.

“We are confident these new awards will be an effective guide to the commitment and the capability of major businesses to incorporate sustainability strategies within their plans.”
